Terms of Services

The following general terms apply to participation in Letsboot courses conducted by felixideas GmbH (Baslerstrasse 5a, 4102 Binningen).

1. Implementation

Each training requires a minimum number of participants. If this number is not reached, all participants will be informed at least 14 days in advance, and any paid fees will be fully refunded.
felixideas GmbH reserves the right to cancel trainings. Any fees already paid will be fully refunded. Additional expenses or disadvantages incurred by participants due to the cancellation will not be reimbursed.

2. Course Fees / Payment Deadline

Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be received in full no later than one day before the training begins.
Prices are as listed on the website. All prices are exclusive of VAT. The legal VAT is additionally charged for all services and deliveries. For services provided abroad, the respective national regulations apply.

3. Participation Requirements

The requirements outlined in the training description on www.letsboot.ch must be adhered to.
Participants are responsible for bringing a fully functional laptop on which the preparatory work has been completed.
Training laptops can be provided upon request for an additional fee.
For remote or hybrid sessions: participants must ensure they can join the remote session from a quiet environment with a stable internet connection, suitable device, and microphone.

4. Scope of Services

The scope includes participation in the training and possibly catering. Accommodation or travel costs are not included.

5. Changes to Training Content

felixideas GmbH reserves the right to adjust the training content continuously and adapt it during the session. There is no guarantee that all listed topics will be covered to the expected extent.

6. Change of Venue

felixideas GmbH reserves the right to change the venue at short notice, provided it is no more than 20 km from the original location.
In cases of force majeure, felixideas GmbH reserves the right to convert the training into a remote session at short notice.

7. Binding Registration

By registering for a course, participants commit to paying the course fee.
Invoices are issued to the billing address provided during the order.
The payment date indicated on the invoice is binding. felixideas GmbH reserves the right to charge deposits, reminder fees, or late payment interest.

8. Cancellations

Registration is binding. In case of an inability to attend, cancellations or rescheduling must be made in writing before the course begins. The following costs apply:

Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the course: free of charge
Cancellation up to 2 weeks before the course: 50% of the course fee
Cancellation up to the training start: 100% of the course fee

A cancellation is only valid when confirmed by Letsboot.ch via email. If the participant is unable to attend due to force majeure or illness, no refund will be provided unless the registration is transferred to a similar future Letsboot.ch training.

9. Liability and Warranty

All trainings are prepared and conducted by felixideas GmbH with the utmost care. Liability for the success of the training or any other liability not based on intent or gross negligence is excluded. The use of the information provided is at the participant's own risk.

10. Data Protection

By registering, you agree to the data protection terms.

11. Insurance

Participants are responsible for their own adequate insurance coverage. felixideas GmbH is not liable for theft or loss of items.

12. Final Provisions

If individual provisions of these terms and conditions are wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a regulation whose economic effect comes as close as possible to that of the invalid one.
Swiss law applies exclusively to the contractual relationship. The place of jurisdiction is Binningen BL.

Additional General Terms and Conditions for Corporate Courses

1. Offers and Prices

For corporate courses, felixideas GmbH provides a quote based on your request. Written offers are non-binding until confirmed in writing by the customer and felixideas GmbH. Offers are generally valid for 30 days.
Prices are as listed on the website. All prices are exclusive of VAT. The legal VAT is additionally charged for all services and deliveries. For services provided abroad, the respective national regulations apply.

2. Order and Payment

felixideas GmbH bestätigt die Annahme der Offerte mit einer Bestätigungsmail, die zur Zahlung des Kursgeldes verpflichtet. Die Rechnungsstellung erfolgt an felixideas GmbH confirms acceptance of the offer with a confirmation email, which obligates payment of the course fee. Invoices are issued to the billing address stated in the order confirmation after the course is conducted. The payment date is binding.
The participant list must be submitted at least four weeks before the training and will be billed as the minimum number.

3. Non-Compete

The customer and felixideas GmbH mutually agree not to solicit each other’s staff. The customer, in particular, will not use trainers employed by felixideas GmbH for their own training and education measures.

4. Course Content / Prerequisites

Unless otherwise agreed, the course content corresponds to the standard learning content published on the website. Custom adaptations of course content and materials must be agreed upon in advance.
felixideas GmbH specifies the necessary course prerequisites that participants must meet to follow the course. The customer strives to send only participants who meet these prerequisites.

5. Infrastructure

The customer provides the training room, internet access, projector/TV, and flip chart.
Participants bring their own prepared laptops according to the provided instructions and have the necessary permissions for software installation.
If a course cannot be conducted or completed on time due to inadequate or non-functional infrastructure, the customer is liable for all subsequent costs (e.g., additional trainers, expenses, participant claims).

6. Course Dates

Course dates should be coordinated with felixideas GmbH as early as possible. Trainer reservations can only be maintained for a maximum of 7 days without written confirmation from the customer.

7. Cancellations | Rescheduling

The order is binding. If cancellations are made after the order confirmation, the following costs apply:

Cancellation up to 8 weeks before the course: free of charge
Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the course: 50% of the quoted service
Cancellation up to the course start: 100% of the quoted service

A cancellation must be in writing and confirmed in writing by felixideas GmbH. The effective date of the cancellation is when it is received by felixideas GmbH.

If individual participants of a corporate course are absent (due to illness, military service, professional obligations, or other reasons) or if the course is interrupted without a valid reason, there is no entitlement to a reduction or refund.
