Disclaimer: The actual course content may vary from the above, depending on the trainer, implementation, duration and constellation of participants.
Whether we call it training, course, workshop or seminar, we want to pick up participants at their point and equip them with the necessary practical knowledge so that they can apply the technology directly after the training and deepen it independently.
After this course, you will be able to implement and manage Zabbix as a comprehensive monitoring solution in your IT infrastructure. You will acquire practical skills for configuring various monitoring methods for servers, network components, and applications, creating meaningful dashboards, and setting up effective alerting mechanisms.
You will understand how to proactively detect and resolve problems in your physical and virtual infrastructure before they affect end users. The knowledge gained will enable you to optimize the performance of your systems, monitor resource usage of servers and network devices, and make informed decisions for infrastructure planning.
Additionally, you will develop the competence to design customized monitoring solutions for your specific system landscape that meet the requirements of your organization, including integration with existing infrastructure systems and automation of routine system administration tasks.
The course is clearly structured and combines theoretical explanations with practical exercises. You will be accompanied by an experienced trainer who will support you with all questions. Through the practice-oriented approach, you can directly apply and test what you've learned in a laboratory environment.
This course is aimed at IT administrators, system engineers, and DevOps specialists who want to implement a comprehensive monitoring solution for their IT infrastructure. Ideal for professionals looking to improve and automate their monitoring processes.
Basic knowledge of network technology and system administration is advantageous. Participants should be familiar with Linux/Unix basics and have experience working with servers and network components. It is recommended to bring your own monitoring scenarios for discussions.
Each participant will receive a preparatory questionnaire after registration. We provide a complete laboratory environment for each participant, so that everyone can conduct their own experiments and implement complex scenarios. The agenda may be adjusted based on questions, participant feedback, and progress.

Zabbix was developed in 2001 by Alexei Vladishev. The project emerged from the need to create a powerful and scalable monitoring solution for enterprises. The first stable version was released in 2004.
Over the years, Zabbix has evolved into one of the leading open-source monitoring solutions. With the introduction of Zabbix 5.0 in 2020, significant improvements were made in terms of scalability and user-friendliness.
Today, Zabbix is used by thousands of companies worldwide to monitor their IT infrastructures. The software supports a wide variety of platforms and technologies and provides extensive capabilities for monitoring networks, servers, applications, and cloud services.
