Bernard Deffarges

Bernard Deffarges has been working in software development and system architecture for over 20 years. He started programming at the age of 10 and began teaching computer science at 14. He spent 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry in Basel, where he developed complex software solutions for research and development and led teams.

In 2019, he founded LLAAMA, a company specializing in the development of cloud-native distributed systems.

Bernard is also the CTO at BioFi AG and a co-founder of Ekiya, where he develops generative AI solutions. His expertise includes distributed systems, bioinformatics, and the application of artificial intelligence in the biopharmaceutical industry.
