David Weber

David Weber is an experienced software architect with over ten years of professional experience in the IT industry. He has been a technical trainer at Letsboot since 2022, where he leads trainings on Apache Kafka and Spring Boot with Kafka Streams.

David works as a Domain & Integration Architect at Baloise Insurance where he implements modern technologies such as event-driven architectures with DevOps methodologies and delivers technical platforms such as Kafka, Keycloak, Jenkins, API Gateway for the development teams with two teams. Previously, he worked as a Software Architect at Open Web Technology and as a Professional Software Engineer at Swisscom, where he contributed to several large projects, such as building the PaaS platform for Swisscom.

David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology from the Fernfachhochschule Schweiz and various certifications, including IT Business Solution Developer (SAP Consultant) and ITIL v2.
