Jimmy Bogard

Jimmy Bogard is a software developer, architect, consultant, author, blogger, OSS maintainer, trainer, and speaker. He has worked at startups, product companies, corporate IT shops, and consulting firms.

Jimmy started his software career back in 2000, building websites with FrontPage 2000 and ASP, and moved on to developing web apps with .NET when it was released. Since then, he has shipped systems in almost every industry.

Over the years, Jimmy has strived to improve how he and his teams deliver value to clients, customers, and end-users. This journey led him to explore Agile, Domain-Driven Design, REST, messaging, distributed systems, and other methodologies and technologies that could help.

Throughout his career, Jimmy has shared his knowledge through blogging, speaking, and training. He has also contributed OSS projects that he has built and used, including AutoMapper, MediatR, and Respawn. Due to these efforts, he has received the Microsoft MVP award every year since 2009 and the NServiceBus Champ award.

Currently, Jimmy is an independent consultant and partner at Solliance, focusing on building and modernizing systems.
