John Hutchison

John Hutchison is an experienced cloud engineer and architect. Since October 2022, he has been working at bespinian as a cloud engineer, where he uses his extensive expertise in DevOps, cloud-native architecture, and application development to support clients on their journey to or through the cloud. He enjoys collecting new tools to always have the right one at hand at the right moment, including Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, Go, DevOps, and Agile methodologies, among many others.

Previously, John was the CTO at the green-energy startup Elblox and spent many years at Mobiliar, where he participated in and helped shape the introduction of Kubernetes, DevOps, and Azure. He has experience building cloud-based SaaS, various microservices architectures, and DevOps platforms. He holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Bern and is certified as an iSAQB Foundational Architect.
Since 2024, John has been working as a technical trainer at Letsboot, where he shares his knowledge in Infrastructure as Code and DevOps.
