Mathis Kretz

Mathis Kretz is an experienced Cloud Architect and co-founder of bespinian. Since 2019, he has been supporting companies as a consultant and architect in migrating to Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and GCP. He has worked with over 100 clients, utilizing modern technologies such as Terraform and Argo CD.

Before founding bespinian, Mathis spent four years at Swisscom, most recently as Head of Cloud Empowerment. Prior to that, he worked as a Software Architect at POLYPOINT AG and IBM. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Bern.

Mathis specializes in cloud-native and serverless software development and is passionate about using Kubernetes and AWS. Since 2024, he has been a technical trainer at Letsboot, where he shares his extensive knowledge in cloud technologies and DevOps.
