Roland Brand

Roland Brand is an experienced software developer with a focus on Rust and web development. Since June 2021, he has been working as a Senior Web Developer at IWF Web Solutions in Basel. Previously, he worked as a Software Engineer at greenmatch AG and again as a Senior Web Developer at IWF Web Solutions.

Roland began his career as a research assistant at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, where he worked on software projects for forest management. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Forest Science from the Bern University of Applied Sciences.

Roland is a passionate Rustacean and is involved in open-source projects as well as digital business ideas. Since 2024, he has been working as a technical trainer at Letsboot, sharing his extensive knowledge in software development and modern web technologies.
