Thorsten Princip

Thorsten Princip has been working in cloud technology for over 10 years. Currently, he is a Senior Cloud Engineer at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund, where he is responsible for the cloud-based DevSecOps PaaS used by hundreds of software developers. In this role, he has gained extensive experience in the architecture, implementation, and automation of Azure, GCP, AWS, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.

Before his role at Migros, Thorsten worked as a Cloud Engineer at ZF Group and as an IT Support Specialist at IBM. He holds a Master's degree in Applied IT Security from Ruhr University Bochum and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science from Hochschule Weingarten.

Thorsten is a certified SAFe 5 Architect and GCP Associate Cloud Engineer. His technical focus includes IaC with Terraform and Terragrunt, GitLab CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure. At Letsboot, Thorsten shares his extensive knowledge as a trainer, helping developers improve their cloud and DevOps skills.
